Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

I, like a lot of other girls, am a big fan of the Twilight movies. A lot of people told me the book is so much better than the movie. So, I figured it would be great for me to read the book since I loved the movie so much. The movie was great, but after reading the book, I realized a lot was left out in the movie. Things in the movie were changed where as in the book it was better. The movie left out a lot of key moments in the book and had some confusing parts. The book explained more things in detail. I think other students would like this book because it is 20 times better than the movie. It keeps you wanting to read more and more even though most likely you get the jist of what is going to happen because of the movie. Even after watching the movie more than once I still got stuck to the book, staying up all night reading it and not wanting to put it down. I think this book would get the same reaction from other students as the reaction I had. I love the book and I think others would too. Like me, others would want to keep reading the series and still watch all the movies.

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

The author, Stephenie Meyer, wrote the Twilight series including Twilight New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I read the last book, Breaking Dawn. This book is about Bella and Edward finally getting married. It’s the gossip of the town, Forks. Some people say they are getting married because Bella is probably pregnant or they say they are getting married because they truly love each other. After the wedding Bella and Edward go on their honeymoon to Isle Esme, an island in the Atlantic Ocean near the equator. Edward finally overcomes his fear of hurting Bella while making love to her. Bella and Edward finally make love to each other. Then, suddenly something unexpected happens; Bella starts getting sick. What could it be? Edward finally finds out what’s wrong with Bella. She’s pregnant. Edward wants to kill what’s growing inside of Bella because whatever it is it’s killing Bella. Bella doesn’t want to kill it, whatever happens to her happens; she wants the baby to live at all cost. When they finally fly back to Forks Bella tells her dad, Charlie, she caught a disease on their honeymoon and she won’t be able to see him for awhile. Jacob gets desperate because he thinks Bella has become a vampire. When he goes to visit Bella he gets a huge surprise when he sees Bella with her big crooked, unshaped stomach. Finally, Bella has her baby girl, Renesmee, a name combined together after Bella’s mom and Edward’s mom. When the Volturi, the leaders of the vampire world, find out they come to destroy the baby. Since they want to destroy the baby a war is about to begin. The Volturi then decide not to kill Renesmee. How will their lives be now? How does it end? Find out by reading the entire book.

Dark Flame by Allyson Noel

My book is about an immortal couple who can not be together because they would kill each other. They are in love but one of their enemies cast a magic spell on them, so if they touch, the guy dies. This book is about the challenges they have to go through together to overcome the spell so they can finally be together.

I liked this book because it's a love story but at the same time it is an adventure book about vampires. I know the Twilight books were a big hit with girls but I think those books were more for a younger age. Dark Flame is more for high school students because it does involve some violent scenes and the situations are more grown up. Any girl who liked reading the Twilight series would love reading this series.

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

The third book of the Twilight saga, “Eclipse”, is an amazing book. If you have read “Twilight” and “New Moon”, this is the next book you have to read. It continues the story of Bella, Edward and Jacob and the rest of the vampires and werewolves. Bella has persuaded Edward to finally change her into a vampire. But there are a lot of challenges to come starting with Victoria's return and the army of newborns she created to settle scores with Edward and Bella. Jacob is on the side line not wanting her to be transformed into his lethal enemy. This book will take you to a different world and it will make you want more and more. The anxiety is huge and you are not going to be able to stop reading. The romance and action in this book is new in comparison to the other books in this saga. The fight between the vampires and werewolves vs. the newborns and Victoria to the old love feelings between two friends.

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

Twilight was a very interesting book because it keeps the reader alert about what's going on. It is a forbidden love story between a vampire and a mortal. Because the love was forbidden, no one was allowed to know about it except for his family. This book would normally attract the average student yet they would have to be interested in fairytales as well.

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

New Moon is the second book in the Twilight series. It begins at Bella's 18th birthday. Her boyfriend Edward’s family throw her a little birthday party and as she is opening her gift she gets a little paper cut and starts to bleed. Jasper tries to attack her but Edward manages to get him off. Edward ends his relationship with Bella in order to protect her and he and his family move from Forks. Bella becomes very depressed for months and looks for comfort from Jacob Black. She learns he is a werewolf. Jacob and other werewolves help protect Bella from the vampires who seek revenge. Through miscommunication Edward hears Bella has killed herself and leaves for Italy. He tries to provoke the only vampires he knows are capable of killing him. Alice and Bella go to Italy to try and stop him and they succeed. The Cullens are informed that because Bella is human and knows about the vampires she must either be killed or turned into a vampire. The Cullens are left with that decision.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

The novel Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is a very interesting book. Usually I really wouldn't read a book that had anything to do with vampires because to me that just sounds lame. On the other hand, Twilight grew very popular and so many people were talking about how good it was, I decided to read it. Bella Swan and Edward Cullen are the main characters in this book. They meet in a town called Forks which is where her dad lives. Over a short amount of time they fall deeply in love. Bella starts to notice some strange things about Edward especially when he saves her before she gets hit by a skidding van. Edward wasn't anywhere near her when she would have gotten hit but he appeared and actually moved the van with his hand. From that day forward she knew there was something special about him. Finally, Bella finds out he really is a vampire.

Breaking Dawn by Stephene Meyer

Breaking Dawn is the fourth book in the Twilight saga. It is an epic love story between a girl, Bella, and a vampire, Edward Cullen, and is guaranteed to take your breath away. Between Bella and Edward's marriage, Jacob's side of the story, an unexpected pact between lifelong enemies, Bella's transformation into a vampire, a half-human half-vampire child and a countless number of "I have to know what happens next!" moments, I can guarantee it will be difficult for you to put down this book. The fate of the entire vampire world is at stake and although Bella and Edward's love for each other is stronger than ever, their eternal life together may be cut short. This is a one of a kind love story and I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a classic, easy read.

Twilight, Stephenie Meyer

In this science fiction, fantasy and horror themed novel, TWILIGHT, Isabella Swan, a young high school student, moves in with her father in Forks, a small rainy town in Washington. She was almost positive this would be the most boring move she had ever made. One day, she meets the mysterious Edward Cullen. Now Isabella takes a thrilling, as well as terrifying, turn in her life. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward loves the most. The two lovers end up finding themselves balanced between desire and danger.

I enjoyed this book because I felt it had non-stop action. There was always something happening or something new going on. Twilight has three sequels, so if you read this and decide you are interested; check out the other three books! Although they are quite long, they go by fast because they are an easy read and very interesting. I feel others would enjoy reading Twilight because it is a different type of story about vampire love. I liked this book because it was something very different than I have ever read and it kept my interest throughout the entire book!

Twilight By Stephenie Meyer

Twilight is about a teen named Bella who moves in with her father and starts life over in a small town called Forks. While there, she falls for a mysterious boy named Edward Cullen who is one to be desired. Edward and Bella get close and she later finds out he is a vampire and his entire family are also vampires. Later in the book, Bella is endangered by another group of vampires and Edward's family must fight to save her. I would recommend this book to anyone because of the action packed ending and the suspense left on every page. It was a great read and I think boys would even enjoy the book even though it is quite gushy.

New Moon By Stephanie Meyer

New Moon is the second edition in the Twilight series and by far the worst one. I did not like this book particularly because of the lack of action and the new love Bella takes on. However, this book is a necessity to understanding the third book, Eclipse. The book is not a total bust but it is definitely not as good as Twilight. I would reccomend this to anyone who wants to read the Twilight series because it gives you more insight into issues in Eclipse but be prepared for some moments of boredom throughout the book.

Eclipse By Stephenie Meyer

Eclipse by Stephanie Mayer is a continuance of the story between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, who is a vampire. Bella fell in love with Edward in the first Twilight book; Eclipse is the third book in the series. This particular book is about vampires who hunt Bella and endanger her and her family. Throughout the book Bella and Edward run into obstacles that create problems and danger for numerous people but through it all, Edward and others prove to be the strongest and no one is seriously hurt. I would recommend Eclipse to girls who like the mushy gushy romance and to guys who like action because Eclipse has both. It leaves you on the edge and leaves you dying to read more.

Cirque Du Freak: A Living Nightmare by Darren Shan

Darren Shan was a normal boy until he received a ticket to an underground freak show. It was then that his life changed for the worse. I really liked the book for the strangeness and the first person view. It was a very fast paced story and it is only the first in a series. If you are a fan of the creepy, this is a book for you.

New Moon by Stephanie Meyer

This is the second book in the Twilight series. So far this book is my favorite because it has a lot more action in it than other vampire relationships. I think students will love reading this book because they will be so caught up in Twilight they will have to read the next book. Also, in the second book you learn about the vampire’s archenemies and Bella's relationship with them!

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

At first glance this book may come off to be a "chick flick" kind of book. But once you get through the thick of the basic love story, the book is acually interesting. It is full of action and adventure, while making you want to become a vampire yourself. I think other students will like this book because it is one the most popular teenage books in the market right now. Also, it is one of those books you just can't put down becauseeach page leaves you wanting more.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

This book is about a girl whose parents are divorced and she decides to move in with her dad. She makes new friends but she meets a boy she describes as a beautiful boy. He is from a family that adopted him. There
is something different about him but she doesn't know what it is. There is some one who tells her he is different from all his siblings and they can't go to certain places. They become friends but he warns her he is not a really good friend. Throughout the book they become really close friends but have to overcome many obstacles. I really liked this book a lot; it's just a book you get so into the minute you start reading it you won't want to put it down.

Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz

Do you like to read mysterious vampire stories? Well you should read Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz. Schuyler Van Alen grew up never fitting in. She would rather wear baggy, vintage, thrift store clothes instead of fancy and expensive clothes like the other girls.Schuyler hung out with her best friend, Oliver Hazard-Perry. They had been best friends since the third grade. Schuyler finds out about mosaic blue veins on her arm. Oliver helped Schuyler find out more about the blue veins. I recommend this book because it's interesting, unique and exciting.Schuyler went to a private school in New York City with Oliver and a new friend, Dylan Ward. When Schuyler turned fifteen her life changed noticeably. The mysterious death of the popular girl in Duchesne haunts Schuyler. Jack Force, the most popular boy in her private school suddenly showed interest in her. Oliver noticed that also and stayed near Schuyler just in case something weird would happen between them. Then, Schuyler wanted to find out more about the blue veins, but will it put her in danger? Schuyler needs to join forces with Jack's twin, Mimi Force. Mimi Force has an extra weird close relationship with Jack and she doesn't like how Schuyler and Jack have shared memorable kisses with each other. The girls joined forces with Oliver to find out more clues of the vampire's new target. After reading this book I learned a lot more about vampires. I highly recommend it to people who like vampires and mystery stories. It will get you excited and fill you with suspense wondering about what will happen next. Both girls and boys, as well as adults, would enjoy this book very much.

Allies of the Night by Darren Shan

Do you like stories about vampires? How about gruesome scenes? If you like these things, then you will like Allies of the Night. This book would be perfect for you. It's about a 15 year old boy who is half vampire and half human and is killing bad vampires called vampanezes. I recommend this book because it will capture your attention. The story starts with a 15 year old kid named Darren Shan who is half vampire and half human. He is a good guy trying to kill the bad guys. He and two other friend vampires are on a quest. They have to kill the Vampaneze Lord and if they do not, then all of them will die. So Darren and his friends, Mr. Crepsley, Harkat and Mr. Tiny go to this city to search for vampaneze and get clues to find the Vampaneze Lord. On his quest, Darren finds two old friends. He finds his old girlfriend, Debbie, from fifteen years ago. Darren tries to get back together with her. The second friend he finds is Steve, who promises to kill all of the vampires. But they end up teaming up to kill the Vampaneze Lord. So Darren, Steve, Harkat and Mr. Crepsley go to get a vampaneze that has been killing people in the city. They find a vampaneze but they already had a plan of getting them. Because they knew there was more than one, they had to be careful. So they attack but who won the deadly fight? Who could have died in the fight? You will know this by reading the book. I recommend this book. It's a great thriller book to read. I recommend this book to any one who likes scary and gruesome stuff. There are scenes that are very descriptive in the book. They talk about bodies in the streets that have been slaughtered and placed in the city. This would be great for a teenager to read. But I would highly recommend you read the whole series of the books, from 1-10. This is book eight so if you’re interested in the book, you should start from book one to understand the series.
