Somebody Everybody Listens To by Suzanne Supplee

Somebody Everybody Listens To by Suzanne Supplee is a book of dreams and hopes for teen girls to read. It is a fiction book without a lot of attention to detail. You will enjoy reading this book because you can easily relate to it.

It’s a book about Retta Lee Jones who wants to be a country music singer. She has just graduated high school and she works at the local diner in Starling, Tennessee where she works hard to help support her family. Starling is a small town and not much happens around town. Her father has a beaten down back that goes out all the time and her mother has never worked a day in her life. Retta is a strong 18 year old who packs up her bags and heads to Nashville with hopes and dreams to make it big. She has always been a singer but finding jobs in Nashville is tougher than it seems. She travels from place to place and meets a man who helps her while she is in Nashville.

While on this journey, Retta learns a lot about her life from her parents' relationship to the person she needs to be. With stars in her eyes and her strong will, Retta takes what she has learned and discovers the man she meets just might be the one to change her life.

If you’re looking for a book you don’t want to put down, read Somebody Everybody Listens To.

The Dirt by All four members of Motley Crue and Crew members

The Dirt is the story of how Motley Crue became famous. This book is told from the points of view of all four members of the band. There are also stories told from various managers, producers and fans of the band. I liked this book because it is a great story for anyone who is into rock and roll. I think other students will like this book. However, not everyone would admire this book. This book is only for those who love rock and are into learning about other bands. I highly recommend this book.

Heavy Metal and You by Christopher Krovatin

Do you like to read about punk, gothic music or relationships? Well, you should read Heavy Metal and You by Christopher Krovatin. This book is about a teenager who's in a relationship with a girl named Melissa, but
there are times when he has to decide if he wants to be with his friends or his girlfriend. This author mentions some of the bands I know which made me get really involved in the story. I really recommend teenagers read this book if they are really into rock or if they like metal. The main characters are Melissa, Sam, Irish and Brent. Sam and Melissa meet each other and they love each other so much. Melissa, without saying a word, kissed Sam and Sam felt that night he was the happiest man in the whole world and he couldn't stop thinking about Melissa. This book is about a teenager who always talks about heavy metal and he's dippy-happy-scared-as-heck in love with a girl named Melissa. Sam loves to tell his girlfriend all he knows about heavy metal. Also Sam likes to get high with his friends and drink. He also likes to experience new things. Sam goes with his friends to get high and to drink and suddenly, when he's going back home with Irish and Brent, he sees Melissa with her friend. He acted like a total jerk to her because he didn't know how to act or what
to say since he was so high and drunk. The worst part was Irish puked all over and he got some on Melissa's shoes and she just looked at Sam with an angry face and left. After that night, Sam went to her apartment and apologized but she didn't know if she should forgive him or not. This book is really, really good. Anyone could read this book if they like to imagine how a relationship can go from good to bad to good or if they really like rock. I would give this book 10 out of 10 because it gives good descriptions and it makes you visualize everything that's happening in Sam's life and what he does with his friends and how much he love his girlfriend. You can also connect to this book in many ways.

The White Stripes: Sweethearts of the Blues by Denise Sullivan

After reading this book I have a whole new respect for the band. This band has always been a favorite band of mine but after reading this book it takes that to a whole new level. They have put a whole new face on blues and have been ground breakers for the music industry. I recommend this book to anyone who loves music and anyone who loves a good Cinderella story.
