Dare to Scare by Jairo

The Portrait

It all began one day while Leonardo daVinci was painting his famous Mona Lisa. No one knew the truth about what happened while he was painting that masterpiece. The public just thought that he painted the Mona Lisa out of the blue. One family member, however, recognized the painting and asked Leonardo, “Did you know the woman in your painting, sir?” And Leonardo said, “No, why?” “Because she is a cousin of mine, and I haven’t seen her... in a MONTH!” The painter said, “No, stop bothering me, you witch.” The woman was angry. “What? You have called me a witch. And all your portraits look like zombies, like they were DEAD.” “No, no. They aren’t dead.” Leonardo found the curious woman later, and he painted her in a new portrait. Of course, no one saw the painting because he sent it across the continent. Later, a gentleman in France had it, and decided to go where the portrait had been painted, because he wanted to find out the meaning of a letter he noticed on the back of the painting, in the top right corner.

Leonardo found the curious cousin. Krystal, suddenly noticed a warm feeling in her chest, and then before she was dying she saw a vision of the famous painting that Leonardo daVinci had made, and while she was screaming, “HELP!” it was too late, she was already dead.  For the rest of the story
