Glass by Ellen Hopkins

"Glass" really shows the struggles a person can go through when they mess around with hard drugs. Kristina was a good girl before she started using crystal meth. A lot of people can relate to Kristina. She has a loving family, great friends and good grades. I relate to her because that is how my life is. When she starts using the drugs, everything goes downhill from there and it shows me what could happen. After Kristina gets pregnant, her life continues to go downhill. The choices with which she had to deal must have been frustrating and everything just got worse when she chose drugs over her baby. Not only did it show me how powerful an addiction can be but this book will also show other people as well.
