Slaughter House Five by Kurt Vonnegut

This is a book about Billy Pilgrim, a war veteran, who witnessed the infamous Dresden fire bombing. After the war Billy has trouble getting back into society. So he decides he must write a book about the bombing to get some sort of closure. Though this proves harder than he expected, writing the book causes him to experience flash backs in time. He ends up reliving the war in his mind and other events as well. Overall, I liked this book. It kept my attention and was not too heavy in description. Also, the book was a very fast read. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a book to read for fun.
