Celebrating Our School Library

Join us this month by looking back at all the wonderful happenings at CHS library. Over 650 students attended our Read Across America Event on March 2nd. We welcomed our second author Carrie Ryan at the end of March. The month of April is School Libary Month and we are celebrating by introducing our Newest Abraham Lincoln Award Books. Look for the shelf as you enter the library. What new things would you like to see in our library?

The Forest of Hands and Teeth takes place in the United States many years after an infection has turned most of the world's population into zombies. Small colonies of people live in fenced in cities with the dead waiting outside, watching them, hoping to feast on their flesh. Mary's whole life has been spent in such a village that is run by an order of strict nuns called the Sisterhood. She has always dreamed of leaving, and then one day, she has no other choice.
