Crank by Ellen Hopkins

I really liked how this book didn’t sugar coat anything. The story is very personal and the book is an enjoyable read. It is about how 15-year-old Kristina became addicted to crank and how the drug turned her from a straight-A student to a drug addict. On a visit to her dad's house she meets a new boy named Adam who introduced her to the world of drugs. When she went back to her mom's house she hoped the addiction wouldn't follow her but it did. Her life changes quickly and she starts to date two guys who both use. Soon she can't keep up with school and loses her old friends. I would strongly recommend this book. It keeps you hooked and wanting more.
