Crank by Elen Hopkins

Kristina Georgia Snow is the perfect daughter: a gifted high school junior, quiet, never causing any trouble. The summer going into junior year, she goes on a court ordered visit to see her always absent father. While visiting her father, Kristina is introduced to her father's neighbor, Adam, with whom she falls in love at first sight. Adam and Kristina begin to talk even though he is not the best guy. They end up hanging out one day and he introduces her to "crank" or meth. While on meth, Kristina turns into her alter ego, Bree, the fearless bad girl. The summer slowly ends and Kristina has to go back home with her mom without her new love, Adam. Her life changes quickly from Kristina to Bree and soon she's dating two guys. Both of them use crank and she loses all her old friends and can no longer keep up with school.

Later in the book, she gets raped and starts selling the drug for the Mexican Mafia. Kristina's parents find out she is now drinking and doing drugs. At that moment, Kristina tries to get her life in control without the constant need to be Bree.
