Skullduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy

Do you want to know how it feels to be important like ace detective Skullduggery? If you are interested in suspense and fantasy with a bit of comedy you should read Pleasant Skullduggery by Derek Landy. In the middle of the story Skullduggery finds out his substitute partner and best friend betrays him. This was one of the greatest books I've ever read and I recommend it to all ages. Skullduggery is an ace detective and his unusual and untalented friend named Mary Nick is twelve years of age and she helps him take down the bad guys. In the beginning of the story they went to his world to find the bad guys in life and make a change in his society and especially his town. This book tells how they stop the most villains in the book like Harry Henry. Randal Rogue tried to rob a bank and kill the mayor before time runs out and Skullduggery gets to the mayor’s office. They stop at a place where there are all clowns. They don't really like the place but they end up stealing their car at this place and then they end up getting it back. This is because their car has the best of the best technology. This book is appropriate for ages fourteen and up. This book is for girls and boys too. This book is for people who like adventure and fantasy. My opinion is this book is not the greatest but not the most boring so it's an ok book. There is a lot of action but most of it seems to be boring so that is why I gave it 3 out of 5 because there needs to be less action and more time spent solving mysteries.
