This book is about a young girl named Stargirl Caraway who begins making her way though a new school. She then meets the boy of her dreams who is willing to go after her even though the school does not think he should. The novel touches on the cruel nature of popularity and how quickly that popularity can change and send the student into a very unpleasant situation with peers. That is why I liked this book; it helps a lot of students in high school read through it and learn about different people’s perspectives.
