This book is about a senior in high school who’s name is Michele. She considers herself a writer who enjoys writing poems about her life and culture as a Mexican American girl. She hopes she can meet someone famous like a publisher who can help her publish her poems, help her pursue her career as a writer, or at least, just be given the opportunity to share what she writes. She is given a job at a live show where she is in charge of sitting all the audience. At this particular job she encounters someone who helps her to do what she always wanted to do. I did like the book maybe because it's a book I can relate to since I am Mexican American and I could connect to many things.
