I really enjoyed reading this book. It was so well written it was hard to put down. This book was an emotional rollercoaster at times. I would recommend this book to all teenagers and young adults because it demonstrates how much worse your life could be. Also, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has experienced abuse and/or witnessed it because it shows you that you are not alone and you can overcome it. The only thing about this book that disappointed me was the ending. I thought there could have been a little more explanation about what happened after they moved and how he dealt with moving. Also, if the abuse had happened to any of his other brothers or if and when he ever saw his brother, David, again. Overall, I thought this book was really good and that others will like it too.
