The Interruption of Everything by Terry McMillan

Terry McMillan's book, “The Interruption of Everything”, is a very detailed but fun to read fiction book. It is an enjoyment to read. It tells how a woman by the name of Marilyn, who is in her mid-forties, thinks life is grand. Then her husband, Leon, comes out with a secret that might cause huge changes in her life. Leon's mother lives with them as well as the dog she has had for as long as she can remember. Leon’s father passed away many months ago. Her sister is a drug addict with two kids and her mother might have Alzheimer's disease. Marilyn has three kids, a daughter who is 21 and pregnant and twin boys who are 18 and in college. Marilyn has a lot of obstacles to overcome. Will she get over them?
