Diary by Chuck Palaniuk
In Diary, we are thrown into a story of love, hate and conspiracy but mostly hate. Misty Wilcot is a mediocre wife, with a mediocre job and a mediocre life. Her husband is comatose from a previous accident, an accident she indirectly caused, but an accident nonetheless. A chain of events unfolds to leave Misty miserable but at the same time almost content in her misery. I enjoyed the deranged storytelling as well as the social interactions that had a consistent edge of repressed malice.
