A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer

This easy-to-read novel by David Pelzer is an amazing story about David's distorted childhood. It taught me a great deal of true life experiences that weren't at all similar to those of which I am generally aware. I think other students would like this book because it does not require much thinking while reading and teaches you about a man's life who is known throughout the country today for his unique childhood and amazing strength.
