Nick and Norah's Infinte Playlist by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn

In this coming-of-age teen comedy-romance, Nick is a lovelorn bassist in a band sulking over the break-up with his girlfriend, Tris. When he sees Tris come to one of his concerts, hands interlocked with another man, Nick panics and asks a girl he never met, Norah, to be his girlfriend for five minutes. With thoughts of her own ex-boyfriend on her mind, Norah agrees only to be completely blindsided to find out this is Tris' ex-boyfriend (Tris has been her enemy since the start of high school). Then Nick's band mate gives Norah $50 to take out Nick and get his mind off Tris. From here, numerous whacky situations occur, like getting caught being "naughty" in a vending machine room in a hotel and dancing in the rain at four in the morning in Times Square. Every chapter switches between Nick and Norah's viewpoints. This book is very entertaining and an easy read. It's for mature audiences so please be advised.
