Artemis Fowl is a great book because it takes the usual happy fairy society and puts a fun twist on it. Not to mention the cunning intellect of Artemis, the single mindedness of Butler, the fun filled Holly Short and the bad tempered Commander Root. All of these characters make this book all the more interesting. Because there are more books in the series, you can go on even more adventures with Artemis, Butler, Holly, Root, Foaly and the rest of the gang. Will Artemis ever find his father? Will Haven and the fairy society stay a secret? Read on to find out.
