A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer

I liked this book for various reasons. One of them is because this is a real story and when reading it I couldn't believe it. I also liked it because I wanted to keep reading until I found out what happened with the little boy who kept getting abused by his mother. I wanted to know how the boy would survive while he kept living with his mother and while his dad would not protect or defend him. Other students would like this book if they are really into non-fiction books. And they would also like to read this book if they mostly like stories about abuse or if they have gone through that themselves.
