Bottled Up takes you through the life of Phillip "Pip" Downs. Because Pip has not cared about his education or career throughout high school, the principal has seen enough. After the principal threatens to call his father to tell him his son will be expelled, Pip will do anything to stay. But can Pip change his pot smoking (and soon to be alcoholic) attitude and stay in school so he does not have to be beaten by his father? The reader witnesses his parent’s problems, his obnoxious brother and his group therapy meetings while Pip is just trying to find out what he really wants in life.
