Someone to Love Me by Anne Schraff

I read this amazing romantic book called Someone to Love Me by Anne Schraff. Being lonely is the worst thing you can feel. This book tells the story of a girl named Cindy who is having problems with her mom. Her mom doesn't pay attention to her so she goes out with her mom's boyfriend, Raffie. Cindy wants someone who can pay attention to her and love her. I recommend this book because you can see or imagine how it feels to be lonely. In this book the names of the characters are Cindy, Mom, Raffie and Darcy. As you read along you will learn more about them. It starts with Cindy having arguments with her mom. Cindy feels upset that her mom won't even spend one day with her. Her mom leaves her alone and goes out with her boyfriend, Raffie, and she doesn't even come home to sleep. Cindy feels her mom doesn't like her and she's very lonely. She even stops going to school when her mom doesn't come home. One day Cindy's friend, Darcy, comes to her house and gives her the idea she is not lonely. Her friend said right now her mom is having fun just like a teenage girl. Her mom really does like Cindy but at this moment she only wants to be with her boyfriend. Cindy starts to recognize why it is that her mom is acting like she is. So Cindy tries not to argue with her because she doesn't want to get mad at her. But throughout the scene there was a guy named Bobby who wanted to talk to her. Cindy had heard rumors about him. So, apparently they both started to talk to each other and they got along. But there's one important thing that happens to them and if you want to know what it is, then you should read this book. I really like this book. I would recommend it to any teenager because by reading this book you might notice that what happened to Cindy with her mom might happen to someone you know. I'm positive that you’ll like it. I rate this book a 10 out of 10 being one of the best books I've ever read.
