Denny is a normal boy but he is not allowed to do normal things like answer the phone. Why? Twenty five years ago on Halloween night his father was involved in an accident that killed 22 kids. Every Halloween they get harassment phone calls and his parents want to protect him from it all. But one day after school Denny decides to answer the phone. He ends up getting really involved with a lady who calls and it ends up deadly... I liked this book because I liked how it took something as simple as answering the phone and made it into something so terrible. If other kids like mysteries as much as I do, I'm sure they will like this book too!
