Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson

Twisted is about a boy named Tyler, who always blended into the background. That is, until he pulled the prank of spray painting the school, which got him noticed- in more ways than one. His new reputation and his new physique had caught the attention of everyone, including his crush Bethany. As Bethany and Tyler get closer, trouble arises when Bethany is the target of a cruel and unusual prank. Things get bad when everyone at school accuses Tyler of doing it, even though he didn't. Throughout the book he struggles with proving his innocence, along with
issues with family, friends, and of course, girls.

I enjoyed this book for several reasons. Tyler's character is one that many high school students can relate to. The various different conflicts he encounters keep the plot constantly moving, making it impossible to put the book down. If you enjoy suspense, dry humor and a dark plot, Twisted will be a great read for you.
