If you would like to read what seems to be the remake of the Notebook,this book is for you. If you have ever read the Notebook, it seems to me that it is just like the book I have read. But it was horrible. My book is called A Virtuous Women. This book is an Oprah’s club book and my mother told me it was overall a good book and that I would enjoy it. But it turns out it reminds me of a remake of the Notebook. Because I thought my book was so bad I thought I should pick another book I would actually enjoy but really I couldn’t as it was far too late. The main characters are Ruby Pitt Woodrow and she was twenty when she met Jack Stokes and he was forty. She was the carefully raised daughter of Carolina gentry and he was a skinny white farmer who didn’t have anything. She and Jack soon got married after a disastrous marriage that Ruby had gone through. The book goes far into detail about adventures they take through out their life. There are very many ups and downs in-between the chapters too.
