Do you believe in haunted mansions? One man takes a simple job to care for a hotel for the winter in the off season. He brings his family along and they begin their stay but one can only be alone for so long. Insanity slowly creeps in and disaster strikes as the mother and son try to escape the mad man they once knew as father and husband. This twisted novel takes the reader on a ride with waves of fear and realization. It is amazing to watch the transformation of Stephen King's almost real characters.
