This book's most amazing component is the dilemma the main character has to face. A young, troubled artist, after attempting suicide, is given the option of giving his own life or sacrificing his mother's in order to save his own. The book makes you question your own choices that you are faced with everyday and what you might do faced with this kind of decision. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys intelligent, well written, exciting stories.
