The scary story of Nightwood is an excellent book. The story begins with three high school girls, Casey, Maryann and Gena, going on a senior fieldtrip to Washington D.C. But, they decide to ditch and go to Delonga. Arriving in Delonga, they meet the boy Casey loves, Lane. Lane told Casey that he came with his friend but his friend was lost in the woods. Casey thinks if she finds Lane’s friend, he will be thankful to her, so together they start searching in the woods. But when the first dead body shows up, they all panic, but worse things come after this. On the other hand, Ben Jay found something terrible in a cabin. There are dead animals in the cabin and most of them are eaten. The next day, Ben Jay receives a call from a reporter. The reporter told Ben Jay that a similar case had happened before. This gets Ben Jay’s attention and he starts to search the story behind the mutilated animals. He doesn’t realize that death is getting close to him. This book is recommended for someone who loves mystery, scary or detective stories.
