My Lover, My Friend by Shirley Hailstock

The Kimani Romance Series is full of the love fantasies between a man and a woman. My Lover, My Friend was a good book. It’s a story about a man named Evan Harper and a woman named Rosemund Albright, who grew up together in the small town of Lighthouse, Maine. As next door neighbors, they became best friends throughout their childhood years. As their high school years ended, they went into their separate lives and each got married. But, tragedy struck, and they lost their spouses in a terrible house fire and from heart failure. They found it hard to move on in life with major devastation. Giving them a place to hide, they come back home to sew their lives back together, to return to their lives as they were. In the mist of all of their troubles, they find out there is a vibe of brown sugar between them as friends that they both won’t admit. I recommend reading this book, just in case you aren’t in a relationship; to give you hope that life goes on.
