This book is about a kid named Max. He travels to Montana to find his dad. He takes his sister with him. They meet a dippy hippy. Then they meet Hobo Joe. They run away from their step dad; that’s the grim reaper. Then they arrive in Montana. But there was nobody there. But Max looks for his dad. Then Max finds a boarded up building.
