This book is an incredibly complex story about fate and destiny. Bargaining with death and those who carry out the task of taking life is the center point of this story. The terrible curse of insomnia turns out to be a portal into a world of mystical creatures and a quest to save the world from evil forces. Both good and evil take people as pawns for their plan and they battle it out to the end. This book is a longer read, but entirely worth it. The story draws you in with loops and twists that you just have to keep reading to discover their purpose.
