Finch Nobles suffered third-degree burns on her face and shoulders as a child when she pulled a pot of boiling water off her mother's stove. She barely survived this tragic accident but in her heart the scars still remain. As she gets older, she realizes she has a special ability of communicating with the dead. I enjoyed this book because it is different than other books I've read.
