The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler

This book is a really good book for girls to read but I don't think guys would like it very much. I liked how it takes place in today's world and deals with a lot of issues teenaged girls tend to go through. This book is also unique because the main character is someone to whom everyone can relate, either themselves or a friend, and that's part of the reason why I think people should read this book. It's inspiring to see how the girl seems to have so many problems and burdens and how she overcomes them. She does that by doing things for herself instead of trying to please other people.
